Ear Infection Assessment Service

The Government of Saskatchewan has expanded the scope of practice for pharmacists, enabling them to assess and treat ear infections for individuals 6 months or older. The assessment is government funded and will be covered for all residents with a valid Saskatchewan health card.

Our pharmacies at Stonebridge, Centre, Warman, and now Attridge and Martensville are among the locations offering this important service! Our pharmacists have successfully completed specialized training and are now ready to provide care for your family.

About Ear Infections

Ear infections are common in kids, especially during cold and flu season. Your child may have sudden ear pain or pressure, tug at their ears, develop a fever, have trouble sleeping, or simply not be acting like themselves.

If you’re concerned, your local Co-op Pharmacy can help. Our pharmacists can assess their symptoms, check their temperature, examine their ears, and determine if an ear infection may be the cause. We can help find the most appropriate treatment for your family.

We're Here to Help!

We are accepting patients for ear infection assessments as our teams can accommodate.
