Saskatoon Co-op and UFCW Local 1400 Announce New Five-Year Collective Agreement
Saskatoon Co-operative Association Ltd (Saskatoon Co-op) and the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 1400 (UFCW1400) are pleased to announce the successful ratification of a new collective bargaining agreement. With over 70% majority of UFCW 1400 members voting in favour, the agreement marks a significant milestone in the ongoing relationship between the co-operative and the union.
Negotiations for the new contract began in March 2024 and concluded in September 2024, demonstrating both parties' commitment to collaboration and mutual growth. The agreement reaffirms Saskatoon Co-op and UFCW 1400’s dedication to their valued team members and the communities they serve.
