Community Fundraising: TeleMiracle 50

Saskatoon Co-op members once again showed their generosity, and we're thrilled to announce the incredible success of our recent fundraising efforts for TeleMiracle 50. Throughout January and February, your support in purchasing Helping Hands at our local Saskatoon Co-op stores was truly remarkable. 

Thanks to your donations, we raised over $35,000, and, together with our friends at Sherwood Co-op (over $31,000), presented a cheque for a total of $66,125.66 for this cherished Saskatchewan cause.

What can $35,000 do to help the people of Saskatchewan?

• It can pay for 3,500 nights at Ronald McDonald house for families with sick kids
• It can purchase 77 walkers OR 15 lift chairs OR 8 scooters OR 2 motorized power chairs
• And so much more!

TeleMiracle, Saskatchewan's beloved annual telethon, has been making a real difference in the lives of our neighbours since 1977, raising an impressive $181 million to date. This year, TeleMiracle 50 reached a record-breaking final total of $10.5 million, and the contribution from our Saskatoon Co-op community helped make this possible.
