Co-op Week allows the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS) and co-operatives across Canada to share the impact of the co-operative model and reflect on this year’s theme set by Co-operatives and Mutuals Canada (CMC): Power the Economy. The theme highlights the important role co-operatives, credit unions, caisses, and mutuals play in communities across the country and provides an opportunity to showcase the many ways they contribute to a stronger, more resilient economy.

Love being a Saskatoon Co-op member? During Co-op Week, October 11–17, invite someone you know to become a member and get rewarded when they join!

Your first successful referral gets you a FREE $10 Co-op gift card. Plus, every successful referral gives you an entry to win a $500 Co-op gift card. The more successful referrals, the more chances you have to win.

The new member you refer also gets an entry into a separate draw to win their own $500 Co-op gift card! That's a WIN-WIN for both of you.

How it works

• They join and receive their Co-op member number. Anyone who joins between October 8-17 (Co-op Week) will be eligible to participate.

Supporting the Community

Not yet a Saskatoon Co-op member? If a participating community organization referred you, or shared this Co-op Week opportunity with you, you can help support them when you become a Saskatoon Co-op member.

Once you’ve joined, submit the Community Referral Form and name the organization that referred you.

Every qualifying new membership gives that organization another entry for a chance to receive a $1,000 donation from Saskatoon Co-op.
