On August 27, 2026, the Board of Directors of Saskatoon Co-op approved a motion to enter into an amalgamation agreement with The Asquith Co-operative Association Limited.

On October 8, 2026, Saskatoon Co-op members gathered at a Special Meeting and voted unanimously in favour of the amalgamation with Asquith Co-op. This new partnership will take effect on January 31, 2027, bringing together two co-operatives with shared values and a strong commitment to serving members, Team Members, and communities.

The amalgamation reflects the strength of the co-operative model: working together to build stronger communities, expand opportunities, and create lasting value for current and future members.
