June 21, 2021

Saskatoon Co-op has made a $5,000 donation to the Saskatoon Indian & Métis Friendship Centre (SIMFC) in honour of National Indigenous Peoples Day (June 21).

At Saskatoon Co-op, we believe our strength is our communities. The Friendship Centre has played an important role in improving the lives of indigenous people in Saskatoon for many years. They provide support services in across a number of areas for Saskatoon's Aboriginal community and beyond, including to many new Canadians. The work the Friendship Centre undertakes is focused on building a legacy of bringing the community together.
