Q: Why should I prepay my Farm Fuel Account?

A: This is a great opportunity to defer your income for the current tax year. Beat the tax. We also have an incentive to receive a gift card when you prepay your fuel order.

Q: Why would I do this as a farmer?

A: Saskatoon Co-op is providing an incentive to prepay by providing gift cards up to $2,500 depending on how much you prepay.

There's also a bonus! If you prepay $100,000, you will receive double the amount in gift cards (First THREE customers only). For example, instead of $2,500, you’ll receive $5,000.

Q: How is my payment applied to the account?

A: The payment must be made before December 31 and maintained separately. The payment will only apply to fuel purchases for the following calendar year.

Q: How much should I prepay?

A: We suggest a percentage of the dollars you spent on fuel last year. You will need to make sure that these are used up by December 31, 2025.

Q: What kind of pricing will I get?

A: Your pricing will be determined at the time of the fuel delivery.
